If you have already removed the app, enter the email address of your account. We send a confirmation link to that address — following it deletes the account. We ask for the link because an email address on its own is not proof that the account is yours.

From the app
Open the app, go to Profile and choose “Delete account”. It asks once to confirm, then the account is gone. This is the quickest route if you still have the app installed.
What is deleted
Everything personal goes, at once:
- Your profile: name, email address, phone number, date of birth and nationality.
- Every document you uploaded, including the files themselves, not only their entries.
- Your eligibility answers, scores and assessment sessions.
- Your Leben in Deutschland exams, vocabulary progress, journey and points.
- Your subscription and everything it unlocked.
What is kept, and why
Two things survive, and neither points at you afterwards:
- Paid orders and their invoices. German tax law requires an invoice to be kept for ten years, and the GDPR allows that as a reason to refuse erasure. The order keeps the email address it was bought with, because an invoice without a buyer is not an invoice.
- Security log entries, with your account detached from them. They record that something happened, not who you are.
